A uniquely designed and styled jungle suite bungalow. Furnishings were either made to order or from our private collection. Outside space includes private garden, plunge pool & BBQ. Soak up the tranquility of nature whilst being just a 5 min walk to the Indian Ocean and some of Sri Lanka’s famed beaches and surf spots, including Kabalana beach. Our philosophy is simple: To provide a private, restful and inspiring space while sharing our love of design and nature. Floor to ceiling tinted glass windows give you the luxury of experiencing the jungle in comfort. The tinted glass provides privacy. Adding to the jungle vibe, you can revel in an outdoor rain shower. There is a kitchenette with basic amenities for you to prepare a home cooked meal if you so wish. Or have a bbq in your exclusive garden. And you can cool down in your own private plunge pool when it gets too hot. Our garden is a large landscaped property designed for you to enjoy being with nature. Expect monkeys to visit you. Peacocks and all sorts of jungle birds come to hang out by the rice paddy throughout the day. The space has been specially curated to allow you to experience the beautiful nature of Sri Lanka. You have access to our garden and paddy field. Our helpful staff can assist you with buying fresh fish and produce as well as cooking for the BBQ. A property manager is on hand and can easily be reached by call or message during your stay should you need anything. A great swimmable and surfable beach is at the end of the road. There are countless surf spots (for beginners and more advanced levels) in a 5km radius. Cinnamon plantations are a stone throw away, not far away are the Koggala Lagoon and the historic Galle Fort for day visits. There are plenty of hip restaurants in the neighbourhood. We can help you with reservations here or elsewhere. The beach is a short walk away (4mins), we can help you arrange trusted Tuk Tuk drivers and vans and cars for hire. This bungalow is generator backed therefore you will still have electricity in event of a power cut. It is not automatic so expect some time before it kicks in. We have a dog and 3 cats living on the property. They are very friendly. Please do not allow the dog inside the bungalow. We can help arrange airport transfers. Also, Tuktuk or car hires to take you around when here. Surf lessons, tours and personal services (massage & private yoga lessons) can also be organised for you.
